These are a few of my most recent writing samples. These writing samples encapsulate my writing capabilities through what I have already accomplished.
I wrote this speech for Congresswoman Melanie Stansbury on why she voted no on this version Farm Bill. This version of the Farm Bill was attempting to make several SNAP cuts that would've taken food off the table for thousands of Americans.
As a press intern for Congressman Darren Soto, I drafted this tweet and helped transcribe this video from the Energy and Commerce Committee.
The summer of 2023, I studied abroud in Valencia, Spain. Throughout the summer semester I studied and reported on the recent local and regional election. I wanted to show how a powerful a person's upbringing and experiences can be in shaping their political views, so that's what I did with the help of FSU's study abroad magazine, Nomadic Noles.
WFVS Tallahassee is Florida State University's student-led radio station. You can listen in anywhere in the Tallahassee area if you tune in to 89.7 FM! At the radio station, the News Department reports live news daily and produces its monthly podcast, Vox Populi. For the two years I spent contributing to the radio station, I've developed a deep understanding of live reporting, producing special reports and podcast episodes.
Her Campus FSU is a Florida State publication by women for women. For the duration of my time at Her Campus, I wrote several articles ranging from world news to pop culture.
